According to report person, Buhari made the remark while addressing members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), all heads of security agencies and the governors, in a closed door meeting shortly after his arrival to the country.
He told them at the meeting,he feels much better now and appealed to all Nigerians to continue to pray for him.
He said: “Whatever the case I’m still grateful to Nigerians.
“I deliberately came back towards the weekend so that the vice-president will continue and I will continue to rest. Thank you very much."
