Iniesta-Real Madrid Deserves LA Liga Title

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta thinks
that his rivals Real Madrid were fully
deserving of the La Liga trophy this
season.



Barcelona managed to defeat Eibar 4-2
after overcoming a 2-0 deficit in the 20
minutes of the second half. Lionel Messi
provided a spark scoring two goals and
should’ve had a hat trick after he missed a
penalty kick.



Despite the best efforts off the team, the
Blaugrana were unable to win the La Liga
trophy again. Instead, rivals Real Madrid
get to hoist the trophy after they defeated
Malaga 2-0 on the last day of the season.


Andres Iniesta thinks that despite all of
the errors from referees and other things
of the sort, Real Madrid were worthy title
winners this season.


“It’s a bittersweet victory. We did what we
had to do by winning the remainder of
our games, but there was a team that was
a little bit better than us and it is the fair
winner. It’s just talk. We didn’t win the
championship.


“The league is over. We weren’t as
consistent as we needed to be to win the
title. We fell just three points short, but
that was all it took. At halftime, we found
out that Real Madrid was winning but we
had to go for the victory just in case.”
