OAU DEFIES ASUU DIRECTIVE, CONDUCTS EXAM FOR STUDENTS

Students of the Obafemi Awolowo
University, Ile-Ife, continued with their first
semester examination despite the
nationwide strike declared by the national
leadership of the Academic Staff Union of
Universities, ASUU.

The students began their examination on
Monday, and continued today, under the
supervision of their lecturers.

The examination is expected to end on
September the 2nd.

The students Union Secretary-general says
he is happy with the decision of the
lecturers to let the exams continue.
