The All Progressives Congress (APC)
governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Mr.
Muyiwa Olumilua, has promised to give 40
per cent of political appointments to the
women if elected as governor in 2018.
He made the pledge on Tuesday at the APC
secretariat in Ado Ekiti, the state capital,
where he officially declared his intention to
participate in next year’s governorship
election in Ekiti. Muyiwa is the son of the
former Governor of old Ondo State, Evang.
Bamidele Olumilua, who was present at the
event.
The younger Olumilua said he would run his
administration on an eight-point agenda to
bring sustainable development to the state.
