SLMC Provides Mosquito Nets To Mushin Community

In a bid to ensure that quality healthcare
services are provided to residence of
Mushin Local Government, a None-
Governmental Organization called Saving
Lives Of Mother and Child (SLMC) have
giving out modern mosquito net for
pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.



The event which was held at the Edgerton
hospital in Lagos on Thursday, attracted
some key traditional rulers and
stakeholders within and outside the
community.



In his address, the key note speaker,
Doctor, Jubril Alimosho stated that the
brain behind this services was to give
support to the community by way of
facilitating mosquito nets material so as to
protect pregant mothers and their child.



He also appealed to them to mindful of
their environment by ensuring that keep it
safe and clean to avoid any form of
disease outbreak.



“We want to use this opportunity to
appeal to all pregnant mothers not to
expose their body to mosquito bite
considering the fact that it won’t only
affect them but also could have a direct
effect on their unborn child.




“With this modern mosquito net being
provided to you, it’s a sure way of
protecting yourself from any harmful
insects or mosquito’s within our
environment.



“We must also ensure to keep our
environment clean in order to prevent any
outbreak of disease that could be
dangerous to our health.”
