UNIPORT Student Who Raped and Killed 8-Year-Old Girl, Has Been Re-Arrested by The Police in Jos

Nigerian Police have rearrested University of Port Harcourt undergraduate, Ifeanyi Dike, who escaped from Rivers state police command custody on Sunday, August 19th.

The suspect was rearrested in Jos, Plateau State capital, by security operatives on Thursday, according to Punch.

He is currently being transported to Rivers state where he would be tried for murder and rape.

Recall that the police officer who was on duty when he escaped from custody has been dismissed and is now being tried for conspiracy and obstruction of justice.
