The Cross River State Government under
the leadership of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has
concluded plans to start the assembling of
TRACTORS and agro related machines in
Calabar.
This was made known when a
team of investors who signed an MoU in
November 2016 arrive Calabar last week
from Belarus to ascertain the commitment
and readiness of the state government. In
an exclusive chart with the Special
Assistant to the Governor on Commercial
Agriculture Mr. Akuku Achilles Ugbani, they
admitted that the government of Cross
River State has put all the necessary tools
on ground for the kick starting of the
project.
They went further to say that it’s
on their part to start the shipment of
equipment into the state which will be
done through the Calabar Free Trade Zone
EPZ for the purpose of safety and to
reduce the cost of transportation as well
as other taxes
