Breakup Not An Option For Nigeria –David Mark

Former Senate President, David Mark has
challenged Nigerians to continue to live
together as one united family as breakup
won’t be of help to Nigeria.

Mark, who led the senate house under the
administration of late Umaru Musa
Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan, said in a
statement that dialogue remains a
geniune way of resolving any issues
affecting any individual or group of
people in the country.




“Those who are agitating for otherwise
are missing the point. Nigeria has crossed
many
crucibles.



“We cannot reverse ourselves. The only
option is to move on in a manner that is
progressive,
peaceful and united.



“We may have our disagreements. But a
break
up is not an option. We can resolve our
differences through meaningful dialogue
and genuine conversation.

“There is no use heating up the polity,” he
said.
