Olivier Giroud has spoken out about his
Arsenal future as Everton prepare to table
a £20million bid for the forward.
The France striker looks set to leave the
Emirates this summer as the Gunners
prepare to
complete a £44million-plus move for
Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.
The Toffees see the 30-year-old, who is
also being courted by both West Ham and
Marseille,
as the perfect replacement for Romelu
Lukaku.
But Giroud is keen to stay at Arsenal and
even has plans to win another title with
the north
London club.
“I won a few titles in my career, that is an
important thing, but there is another
thing which is important for me,” Giroud
told
arsenal.com.
“And that’s the people [see you as a] loyal
warrior on the pitch – that you always
give your best for the team.
“And that’s why I want to carry on my
good journey at Arsenal and I always
want to give my
best.
