Gareth Bale could be on the verge of a
sensational return to the English Premier
League
– if Real Madrid can tempt teenage
sensation Kylian Mbappe to the
Bernabeau.
European football expert Graham Hunter
revealed Los Blancos have been tracking
the Frenchman since he was 14 years old
and Zinedine Zidane wants to make the
youngster
part of his forward line.
And if Los Galacticos can fend off interest
in the forward from Arsenal and PSG, this
could see
Bale offloaded in favour of the Monaco
striker, putting Manchester United on red
alert.
Both Jose Mourinho and United chief Ed
Woodward want to bring Bale to the
Theatre of Dreams, but a lot hinges on the
movements of Cristiano Ronaldo, with Real
Madrid “hamstrung” by the Portguese
star’s shock revelation he
wants to leave Madrid this
summer.
Ronaldo’s potential departure would free
up funds for Real sign Mbappe, who will
command
a world record transfer fee if he makes
the move.
Yet Bale feels he is not yet finished at the
Bernabeau and after an injury hit 2016/17
season, he is keen to prove his worth to
Zidane.
