CRUTECH Student Who Invented Rechargeable Fan:I Need The Support Of The Government

An exclusive interview with kelechi
Vincent the original inventor of
rechargeable fan which is capable of
playing music and video, making phone
calls and performing other activities like
Led light to enhance the reading of
students because of frequent power
outage in the school community.







He is calling the state and federal
government to give him support for he
have a creative mind that can lead the
country in a successful invention and
making the technology know how runs
very smooth in the country.

Mekoh Kelechi Vincent.


Voplink :How old are you?
23 year.


Voplink : Where are you from?
Awba – Ofemmili in Awka-North L.G.A of
Anabara State.



Voplink : Which institution do you attend?
Cross University of Technology (CRUTECH)
Okuku Campus, Faculty of Basic Medical
Sciences.




Voplink : Which department and what
level?
Department of Human Anatomy and I am
in 100 level.



Voplink : Why do you choose to study
Human Anatomy?
I intended to become a medical doctor
and since I could not reach jamb cutoff
mark, I
decided to do the premedical which is
Human Anatomy.




Voplink : What do you do as a student
I can repair phone charger, extension,
building connection, I can construct a
power
bank.



Voplink : What have you constructed
A fan.



Voplink : What is the constructed fan
made of?
Plastic, cave the plastic out from jerrican.



Voplink : What are the materials used?
Cutter, compass, ruler, tin rod iron, stove.
The cutter is used for cutting of plastic
into
various shape, the compass is used also
for cutting and marking, the ruler is for
measuring, the tin rod iron is used for
soldering and the stove for generation of
heat.



Voplink : What are the components and
how does it work?
The constructed fan is made up of four
powers, two are rechargeable (blue and
black)
the remaining two, one of it use 3 dry cell
batteries (and can last for 7days
depending
on the usage). The last one is Alternating
current (AC).


The constructed fan is also made up of
lightening and decoration or colour lights.


The
lights is for reading and it has 3 different
place of where the light is placed for
different direction of reading. The
decoration is for beautification.
The constructed fan has 9 switch, 8
switch control white light and 1 control
colour
light LED ( light emitting diode).


The fan is
constructed for reading and also for
pleasure and it is mobile. The constructed
fan entertain such as music, video, it also
can make a call.



The constructed fan can charge phone, it
also has a wire for DC output and testing
for
urgent work because the wire bring
direct current from the constructed fan.


It
also
has a USB point.

before?
No.



Voplink : For how long have you been
doing this?
I started this at the age of 7, and I have
constructed more than 9 different types of
fans.



Voplink: Are your parents in support of
you
Yes



Voplink : What are your life experience?
My life experience is when I struggled
through jamb to meet up the cuttoff
marks, but
I thank God today I have gotten admission
and am in school.


Voplink : How about your family?
I was born into a family without a silver
spoon, and a polygamous family.

My father
first wife has 7 children and my mum has
5 and I am the 4th. I have really been
struggling just to be the best among
others with the help of my step brother.



Voplink : What do you wish for?
I wish if the Government can support me
in all ramifications and to encourage me
to
developed Nigeria.



Voplink : What are your advice for other
My advice for others is for them to have
faith in God, and always have
determination
in what ever you are doing.



Voplink : What drives you into doing this?
I really just need comfort while reading
even when there is light or without light.



Voplink : How do you get inspired?
I get inspired through my mum, and
seeing what others do I intend to do
better.
